Offered in this listing is a lot of 4 harness magazines with the great NIATROSS on the cover of each. Check out the pics as it seems like only yesterday NIATROSS set the harness world on fire with his unreal performances week after week. Check out the pics. I could go on and on, but everyone has heard the name NIATROSS a time or two. First magazine is Hoofbeats dated September 1980 and the inside page is a small paragraph about how NIATROSS changed the cover of Hoofbeats away from its traditional one. Also, there is a nice article and pics of LAND GRANT and driver, Del Insko winning the prestigious Woodrow Wilson Pace at the Big M. Next mag is the Horseman & Fair World, dated September 24, 1980, with NIATROSS on the cover winning the Little Brown Jug. Also, this mag has write-ups and results from every track which was racing at that time. Last are the two (2) Harness Horse magazines dated October 8, 1980, and December 17, 1980, and of course, NIATROSS graces the cover of them as well. These also have pics of winning horses, small write-ups and weekly results from tracks around the USA and Canada. The overall condition of these is pretty good but they do have normal wear and tear and bent corners and edges. Sure to bring back good memories with stories of the horses and horseman-horsewomen who raced back then. These magazines are very collectible and really display well. NIATROSS was something special and arguably the greatest harness horse of all time. He made ordinary people harness racing fans back then. For sure he was way ahead of his time.
